The Blend is breaking the mold of the traditional wine dinner to bring you a progressive culinary excursion! During this exclusive, limited attendance event, guests will embark together via trolley on a guided dining experience to locally-owned eateries that are members of the Sarasota-Manatee Originals.
At each restaurant, you will enjoy a specialty dish carefully curated with a paired wine. The Chef and a local wine expert will guide you through the tasting experience before venturing to the next location. Each tour is a new adventure highlighting the restaurants that make our community so unique.
Tickets are sold (online only) for $125 per person.
Please note: the restaurants and route may be subject to change but no ticket refunds are allowed.
The October edition of The Blend will take place in Downtown Sarasota on Tuesday, October 12 during Set the Bar Cocktail Week! Guests will sip and stroll between restaurants, while enjoying a unique dish carefully paired with a craft cocktail reflecting the flavor of each local establishment. The Chef will guide you through the tasting experience before venturing to the next location.

There are 2 ticket types:
General Admission (Group 1) - Start time of 5:00PM
General Admission (Group 2) - Start time of 5:30PM
If you wish to be in the same group as other guests, we suggest purchasing your tickets together in the same transaction.
Your ticket includes complementary Valet Parking at Art Ovation Hotel, where Event Registration will take place and the culinary tour begins! This event requires walking between restaurant stops.
Tickets are available for purchase online only. A limited number of tickets are available for this event. The ticket price includes all food and beverage provided during the tour (including the cocktail tastings!) It also includes any parking fees, a tip for the servers and all entertainment provided during the tour. Event attendees must be able to walk for the full duration of the event (approximately 1 mile in total distance.) In the event of inclement weather, the rain date for The Blend: Cocktail Edition will be Tuesday, October 19.
Safety Measures: The Blend Sarasota will follow the current CDC Guidance for social distancing. Tickets and capacity are reduced to help limit social interaction. Guests will be required to wear masks on the trolley and until seated at each restaurant.
The November edition of The Blend will take place in University Town Center (UTC) on Tuesday, November 16! More details will be revealed soon!

Absolutely! Tickets for each edition will be sold separately and you may attend as many as you would like.
No - depending on the location and the restaurants proximity to eachother, guests will either walk or will be transported via trolley. For example, the June edition includes restaurants that are several miles apart, so guests will be transported via trolley. For the April edition, guests were able to walk as the restaurants were all located within .5 miles of eachother.
The ticket price includes all food and beverage provided during the tour (including the wine pairings!) It also includes any parking fees, transportion (trolley), a tip for the servers and all entertainment provided during the tour.
You should treat your tickets like cash. Tickets are non-refundable and will not be replaced if lost or stolen. All events, prices, performances, venues, dates and times are subject to change without notice. All sales are final. Your tickets will not be replaced, refunded or exchanged for any reason whatsoever. To have 100% confidence in the validity of your ticket purchase, you should only purchase your tickets through our ticketing system (Squad Up.) The validity of tickets purchased through other websites or resellers cannot be verified by The Sarasota-Manatee Originals prior to event day.
Each edition will be different. You may have the opportunity to purchase the wine tasted during the event or you may have the opportunity to purchase the wine after the event (by returning to the restaurant.)
Casual. We suggest comfortable shoes (for walking or boarding the trolley.)

On Thursday, April 29, 2021 a group of 50 foodies gathered at Art Ovation Hotel to toast the inaugural event, The Blend: Forks & Corks edition. Overture Restaurant & Gallery Lounge, Clasico Italian Chophouse, element: Steak. Seafood. Pasta. and Sage SRQ delivered a culinary experience that highlighted their talent and creativity. The wines were carefully selected by each Chef to enhance the flavors of their dish. Guests sipped and strolled their way through Downtown Sarasota as onlookers watched with envy. At each stop on the journey, guests were regaled with with stories of each wine's origin and evolution.
