Showcasing Cynthia Breslin’s 22+ year restaurant experience as the owner of Blasé Café & Martini Bar on Siesta Key and her slogan, “We know how to throw a party,” she and partner Kevin Skiest and their culinary team crafted a menu that exudes flavorful French Mediterranean cuisine with innovative touches. Adding to the warmth and hospitality that typifies the European dining experience, Breslin and Skiest designed the romantic, artsy and casually-upscale interior surrounded by color and original art.
Adding to the ambiance of Blasé Bistro is the marble curved original bar from the Don Cesar in St. Petersburg, Fla. The bar was moved from Blasé Café on Siesta Key, the first of the Blasé Sarasota restaurants, to further enhance the visual appeal of the Bistro.
Blasé Bistro is the second restaurant to open under the Blasé name, the first being Blasé Café & Martini Bar on Siesta Key, opened by Breslin in 1997. The restaurant grew from one table in one space to what is now a 100-seat restaurant with three bars and the adjacent pizza and craft beer restaurant, Pi 3.14, which opened in 2016. Partner Kevin Skiest, a real estate and business investor, joined the Blasé family in 2016 to help re-organize and re-energize the business.
