Ring in the New Year at GROVE! Join them in the ballroom for an exclusive soirée as we say goodbye to 2022 and hello to 2023.

This elegant evening will feature a five-star buffet, a full open bar, and upbeat tunes from OR Jazz Band Trio.

Wear your best white, black, or sequin attire and strike a pose in the 360 photobooth or while sipping bubbles from our champagne wall!

After dinner, head out to the west terrace for live DJ entertainment and a midnight toast.

New Year Soirée at PIER 22 - starting at 7:00 pm.

Ring in 2023 with Sharky’s on The Pier. For the most fun in Venice and Sarasota County this New Year’s Eve, join the party on the beach at Sharky’s on the Pier. What better way to ring in 2023 than by soaking up a beautiful view “smack dab on the Gulf?”

At 7 p.m. on Saturday, December 31st, guests will enjoy featured entertainment by Scarlet Drive. Scarlet Drive is a Gulf Coast-based five-piece female-fronted band specializing in high-energy covers and original tunes. Scarlet Drive's show features a diverse mix of upbeat pop, rock, country, and dance music that ranges in style from the 70s to today's popular hits.

The evening will only get better as you welcome 2023 with a breathtaking live fireworks show at midnight, silhouetted by the iconic Venice Fishing Pier.

Mean Dean’s Local Kitchen will be open Christmas Eve, Saturday, December 24th, from 11-9 pm.

They are serving their regular lunch menu until 3 pm. After 3, they will begin transitioning the kitchen for service on Christmas. During that transition, only certain items from their menu will be available.

They will also be open on Christmas Day, Sunday, December 25th, from 3-8 pm.

Reservations are required as they tend to book up. In addition, Walk-in seating is available only at the bar, high tops, and outside.

Book a reservation for Christmas Day by calling them at 941-251-5435. Parties of 5 people or more are allocated a 2-2.5 hour time slot (depending on the table), which is usually plenty of time to dine.

Their regular menus (brunch, lunch, dinner, bar bites, etc.) and specials will not be available due to the reconfiguration of the kitchen for increased service capabilities. 

On New Year's Eve Mean Dean's Local Kitchen is hosting their "Have a Crabby New Year!" party!

Celebrate your New Year's Eve dinner with Mean Dean’s Local Kitchen and enjoy various crab specials and lots of champagne!

Dance, Drink, and ring in the New Year with State Street Eating House + Cocktails! Restaurant dinner service begins at 5:00 pm. So be sure to get your reservations in early! You know it's going to be fab!!

For this groovy 1970s disco night, the lounge will open at our regular time, 5:00 pm, and as with any fabulous party, entrance will be, ahem, selective. A modest $20 cover charge will apply at 9:00 pm, including a glass of bubbles!

Celebrate New Year’s Eve at MeLANge! Chef Lan and Chef de Cuisine Jorge have created a special night featuring two delicious menus. In addition, wine and spirit pairings will be available.

Reservations are required. Please call 941-953-7111 to reserve your table! Online reservations will not be available for NYE.

 The Four-Course Prix-Fixe Menu is $95 per person. Suppose you want to take your meLANge NYE experience to the next level. In that case, Chef Lan is offering an incredibly special Ten Course Tasting Menu for $135 pp. You’ll get to savor every dish she will be preparing for the evening.

Note that MeLANge will be closed on Christmas eve and Christmas day.

Mattison’s Forty-One Offers Feast of the Seven Fishes Dinner on Christmas Eve!

The Feast of the Seven Fishes is a holiday tradition at Mattison’s! Chef Paul Mattison has created a special menu available exclusively at Mattison’s Forty-One only on Christmas Eve.

The meal is an Italian-American, multi-course menu featuring fresh fish and other fine seafood.

This special holiday meal is a tradition that Chef Paul Mattison, owner of Mattison’s Restaurants and Catering, grew up experiencing with his Italian family. Many holidays were spent cooking alongside his grandmother Esther. He proudly brings this family tradition to Mattison’s every Christmas Eve.
