One of the best meals is brunch. The late-morning (ok, early afternoon) tradition of brunching has reached a peak in popularity which means lots of choices: So we've done the research for you: Here’s some of our favorite spots around town! Each location offers an incredible mimosa selection PLUS incredible cuisine from their various menus. Bottoms up! 

Mean Dean’s Local Kitchen

Sunday Brunch is offered every Sunday 11am to 3pm (excluding major holidays). Mimosas include: Classic, Elderflower, Hibiscus & Lavender, and Blackberry! Here are some of our fav dishes:

First, the Bananas Foster French Toast—French toast topped with flamed-to-order bananas foster!

Where are the pulled pork lovers? Try the Pulled Pork Benedict—Espresso rubbed, rum soaked pork served on an English muffin topped with a poached egg and homemade hollandaise…need we say more?

We can not recommend the Arctic Timber Bagel enough. Enjoy a chilled cedar plank salmon, topped with basil-dijon aioli, diced red onions, and capers. Served with cream cheese and an everything bagel!

Of course we have to mention the Chicken & Waffles. Delicious fried ranch seasoned chicken breast served over a candied bacon waffle. Then, topped with diced green onions with a side of spicy maple syrup.

We recommend ordering appetizers as you socialize with your party! The Balsamic Chips include bacon and melted blue cheese with a delicious balsamic reduction, tomatoes and scallions. The Flatbreads are out of this world and the Brisket Sliders are known to leave an impression.

The Breakfast Company

Their name says breakfast, but this place is also an ultimate brunch destination! Fresh, local ingredients paired with incredible hospitality – this is the place to be with family or friends! Their breakfast menu is top-tier and the bakery will have your mouth watering as soon as you walk in! 

Some of our favorite brunch bites are the Mojo Pork Eggs Benedict with garlic citrus shredded pork, crispy plantain chips and lime wedge. And of course, The Florida French Toast (with fresh mango, ripe pineapple, seasonal berries, toasted coconut, cereal crunch, citrus glaze and homemade whipped cream) is a Breakfast Company favorite!

The Sunshine Mimosa and the Summertime Spritzer are the best accompaniments and we recommended pairing with either a warm, homemade Cinnamon Roll from their bakery or one of the many delicious fresh-baked “Stuffins”! 

The Breakfast Company is a new member to the Sarasota-Manatee Originals and we could not be more excited to have them! When you stop by, make sure to let them know The Originals sent you!

Brick's Smoked Meats 

This is the place where Texas 'cue meets Florida flair! 

The Cowboy Breakfast Sandwich is incredible, featuring smoked pork, bacon, an egg, tomato, pickled onion and potato hash! Believe us when we say you’ll be forever changed! Or if you are feeling something SWEET, try the Sweet Tooth which is cinnamon french toast, bruleed bananas, smoked pecans, and maple whipped cream!

They also have an amazing drink menu with signature cocktails to mocktails, anyone can enjoy!

Harry's Continental Kitchens 

Located on Longboat Key - Breakfast and Brunch are served daily from 9am - 2pm! Honorable mentions include the Smoked Nova Scotia Salmon Plate which is a quarter pound smoked salmon sliced thin served with chopped onion, capers, cream cheese and toasted bagel. One of our personal favorites is called Harry’s Nogi, which includes scrambled eggs, bacon crumbles, cheddar cheese, pico de gallo, avocado, chipotle sauce, corn tortillas,and any choice of side!

MADE 

Come enjoy an award-winning brunch in Sarasota! MADE offers a full Sunday brunch complete with all of your favorites. Their brunch menu features the best modern American comfort food around and includes a variety of gluten free and vegetarian options. Brunch at MADE is available Sundays from 10am to 2pm and reservations are highly encouraged. 

Starting with cocktails, the SRQ Famous M.A.D.E. Bloody Mary is a MUST-have. We recommend adding the house-made jalapeno infused vodka! 

Our favorite plates include the Breakfast in Bread, which is french toasted brioche filled with scrambled eggs, maple links, billionaire bacon, and aged cheddar, with a choice of seasonal fruit or potatoes on the side. The BGFT, is another MUST-try, including house-made pimento cheese, billionaire bacon, beer and bacon braised greens, fried green tomato, poached eggs, and chipotle hollandaise sauce.

Mattison’s Riverwalk Grille and City Grille

Indulge in Mattison’s chef-crafted brunch made with all natural, antibiotic and hormone free ingredients sustainably sourced from small family farms. Brunch is not just for weekends at Mattison’s – it’s served every day from open – 4 pm. Signature bloody marys and $15 bottomless mimosas are also on the menu. Riverwalk hosts a Live Blues Brunch every 4th Sunday of the month featuring local and national artists.

Brunch enthusiasts will find items on the menu like the Mediterranean Frittata, Stuffed French Toast with cinnamon whipped cream, the Smoke House Omelet and Steak and Eggs Bowl just to name a few.

Enjoy brunch on the Manatee RIver every Sat & Sun from 11am - 3pm!

Their flatbreads are always to die for and the Honey Macadamia Shrimp appetizer will never not hit the spot! The Chilled Salad Croissant is a crowd pleaser too, for only $12! 

To complete your experience grab either a bloody mary, mimosa or their red or white sangria!
