A Special Holiday Dinner For Manatee Children’s Services Foster Children

A Season of Giving

Each year, the Anna Maria Oyster Bar family recognizes a special group or organization with an annual Christmas Dinner party. This holiday season, they have invited the 30 foster children currently living at the nearby Manatee Children’s Services shelter as well as MCF volunteers. Manatee Children’s Services seeks to advocate for and provide the resources, skills, and shelter to alleviate abuse through prevention and intervention for all children and their families.

This special holiday dinner is always a great and memorable time for all who join them… in the past AMOB has hosted their Dive Into Reading children and families, PACE Center For Girls students, and other community organizations who work tirelessly to ensure that the Manatee County area becomes a better place to live.

In 2018, their holiday party will take place at the Landside Anna Maria Oyster Bar (closest to the MCF facility) on December 10, with a delicious and festive dinner, yummy desserts, and a few fun surprises for the kids. After all, it isn’t the holiday season without a little gift giving!

Speaking of which, they have chosen MCF as the recipient organization of our annual Holiday Gift Drive, as well. If you would like to donate a gift for a child in need, please visit your nearest AMOB and select an ornament from our Giving Trees in each store. Gifts are due back on December 12 so they can deliver them to MCF in plenty of time for Santa to work his magic.

Thank you to the amazing AMOB Family and guests for generously contributing to help them create a happy holiday for all.
